Jon Martin, Pastor
Jon is a California native with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Prior to a call to ministry, he was working for a large aerospace company. He completed a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1994 and was ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in 1996. In addition to serving as Hospital Chaplain at Stanford University Hospital, he has served as an associate pastor in Martinsville, Virginia, as the solo Pastor of two churches (Kentucky and Virginia), and currently serves in the United States Navy Reserve as a Chaplain.
Rev. Martin is married to Susanne, who is also a Presbyterian minister. They have two grown children and a golden retriever. When he wants to decompress, Rev. Martin sits on his deck, surveys the backyard, and sips coffee. He also enjoys making things out of wood in his workshop and undertaking DIY projects around the house with his wife.
