Welcome to Online Giving!

A major study of giving patterns in churches have revealed that an increasing number of people are looking to make donations through online means. The reasons are clear: 1) People are paying many other bills through online portals, and they would like to do the same for the church; 2) Online giving makes it easy to give even when one cannot be at church.

A number of people give to First Presbyterian Church with “billpay” offered through their banks. An individual schedules a gift through the bank’s bill pay system, and a check is sent to the church through the mail from the bank. There are no fees associated with this method.

Others would rather give more directly through online giving offered through the church’s website. We now have the ability to offer this to those who would like to support our church’s ministry.

You will see on the right hand side of our website a box called “My Online Donation.” This offers two ways to give. The first is a “quick give” where you do not set up a donor account. The second way is to set up a donor account through the donor portal.
A donor account allows you to:
• to set up recurring giving which is automatic each week or month.
• to track your donations for the year which is helpful for tax purposes.
• to set pledge goals for yourself.

For those with smart phones, you can download the “EasyTithe” app from the app stores and give through your phone!

There are fees associated with online giving. For those who give online with a credit card, the church is charged a 3% fee (much like any retailer). For those who give through an ACH Debit (checking account) there is a .75% fee.

Getting Started:
• Would you like to give without setting up a donor account? Click “Quick Give”.
• First Time Donor? Click “First Time” and setup your Donor Profile.
• Already a registered donor? Simply enter your Email and Password.
• Forget your password? Click “Forgot Password”.

Setting Up Your Donor Profile:
• Enter your email address and password.
• Password must be at least 8 characters and must contain a combination of letters and numbers.
• Remember these login credentials! You will need them to access your Donor Profile.

One Time Gift - Debit or Credit Cards:
• Login by entering your email address and password.
• Select which fund you would like to donate to from the drop down list.
• Enter your donation amount.
• Add your card information and billing details.
• Click “Submit” to process your donation.

One Time Gift - eChecks:
• Login by entering your email address and password
• Select to “Use Check” located at the top right of your screen or select ACH/eCheck from the drop down menu
• Select which fund you would like to donate to from the drop down list
• Enter your donation amount
• Add your bank account information
• Click “Authorize” to submit donation

Automatic Recurring Donations - Debit or Credit Cards:
• Login by entering your email address and password
• Select “Scheduled Giving” on the left hand navigation
• Select which fund you would like to donate to from the drop down list
• Enter your donation amount
• Select the frequency, number of installment and start date
• Add your card information and billing details
• Click “Activate Schedule” to start your recurring donation schedule
